Donald Roy "Butch" Collins
DONALD "BUTCH" ROY COLLINS Donald Collins was born in Castro Valley, on October 25, 1970. He entered heaven's boxing ring to join his dad on November 7, 2007. Butch shared many passions in life including boxing both in and out of the ring, coaching little league, restoring old cars and spending time with his loved ones. He was an entrepreneur and took great pride in providing for his family, with both a beautiful home and an enormous amount of love. His desire for a good education for his children and a safe environment for them to be raised had him recently looking to relocate. He began his own company for tax consulting. He was excited about this new endeavor and the many challenges it entailed. He was a beautiful person, and his positive thoughts opened our lives and hearts to great possibilities. He was our gift, and always will be our blessing. Proceeded in death by his father Calvin Medeiros, Grandmother, Alice Medeiros and Grandfather, Tony ILacqua. Survived by the love of his life, Teresa Alejandres, Children, Angelina, Natalie, Rebecca, and Hector, Mother Dee Dilling, Stepfather George Dilling, name sake Donald Collins, Sisters Deana Collins, Alyssa Dato, Cherina Medeiros, Brothers Joey Dilling, Joel Marquez, Grandmother Antoinette ILacqua, Grandfather Manuel Medeiros, great-aunt Lu Compartore, Godfather/Uncle Charles A. ILacqua, Uncle Anthony ILacqua, Cousin Anthony ILacqua and many other relatives. Family and Friends are invited to a Funeral Service at Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Rd, Hayward on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. A committal service will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the service.

God remember high school everyone thought we were brother & sister. I just saw Butch what I thought was just yesterdat at Wal-Mart in Manteca. Butch you will forever be missed. Margie

My favorite memory of him was at Thomas Jefferson Elementary when one Halloween he dressed up as Pac-Man. He had on yellow tights and everything! It was a great costume, that has always stuck with me all these years. He will be missed.
