Yes. Fernando passed away in late 1995 of retinalblastoma (eye cancer). Apparently this was a condition that he was aware of but unfortuately didn't seek treatment for therefore, ultimately passing from it. He leaves behind a beautiful daughter.Susan Benge (Parr)
