Michael Christopher Moore passed away after fighting a grueling battle with Cancer. Michael was diagnosed in 1994 while he was in the United States Army serving as a Military Police Officer. Mike spent time in Germany, Hati and other "wonderful" places fulfilling his obligation for his country. Mike was a model for all who are subjected to adversity in their life. His attitude was strong, humerous, and determined. He never openly expressed pity for himself or felt he was wronged for the cards life dealt him. I was honored to spend time with Mike, his wife, and family during his fight. I have never seen such an open display of courage, love and support. I had this website forwarded to me and was suprised to see so many classmates that have passed. I wanted to write this comment/memory because Mike's passing needed more than a ** next to his name. His passing deserves respect and honor for the class and strength he displayed. Michael was a loyal friend (in many ways still is) soldier, husband, brother and son. Mike also was a Cancer "ass kicker" who survived extreme surgical and chemical procedures. Cancer took Mike but it did not beat him. For those who new Mike you should be very proud.

I'm so glad someone finally wrote about Mike. I didn't know him personally, but I remember him in school. I was wondering what happened to him, thank you for writing such a touching and heart felt comment. All of our fellow students who passed should all be honored and remembered in such a way. Rest in peace, and God Bless, Mike.

I also remember Mike from school! He always had a smile, even for me! Thank you Jeff for, as Brenda wrote, such a touching and heart felt comment. There's a country song that says you leave a legacy with the ones you leave behind! I think this is very true for Mike throughout his life in many different realms. God Bless!

Thanks Jeff,

Of all our fellow classmates that have passed on this one hit me the most. I played basketball with Mike. I didnt know him like Jeff but wow this is heart wrenching. I remember Mike always dunking in practice, but never could put onedown in a game, but that dude played hard as anyone I ever played with or against. My funniest memory of Mike...Fast break, I throw him a perfect oop and he layed it up, I thought to myself, "Mike you jus messed up my dime".

R.I.P. Mike
