Cherish died in a automobile accident near Palm Springs August 3, 1991.
Cherish's death was a complete shock and the first time many of us faced the mortality of our generation. In the short time I knew her, she was an open and accepting soul. She had a smile for everyone. I owe her so much as she & Tracey were the first people I met after moving to San Leandro. Her outgoing nature was the catalyst for the lifelong friendship I have with Tracey and I am forever grateful. Rest in Peace, Sweet Girl!
My most vivid memory of Cherish was in Junior High in band playing the clarinet. She always sat up so straight and proper, and always had a smile for everyone she encountered. She was a very sweet person who never had a negative thing to say about anyone. I wish there were more people like her in the world. I also remember our "gilrs night out" with Darlene, and a few others going to the city in her creamy Mustang and Darlene's red one. Fun times!! You are alwyas in our hearts and thoughts. We miss you Cherish
I have numerous memories with Cherish. She introduced me to the father of my beautiful children. I'll never forget our senior cut day, where Cherish and I decided to go to the Winchester Mystery House. What a very sweet soul, taken from us way to soon. Rest in extreme peace dear, I will always love you.
